General Sales Conditions
LA RIGGIOLA is delighted to welcome you as a Customer!
1. Please note that our customers have 24 hours to cancel a placed order, that refers even to orders placed in our web shop. After this time we will start to realise the ordered tiles/items -which are realised exclusively for you – and no changes can be made.
2. A handling fee of 15% will be charged to the total value of all returns and 15% on the full value of all cancelled orders.
3. Important: You can only return goods in stock (directly available). All items which are sold from our stock will be clearly defined. No returns will however be possible after 15 days.
4. Quantities are estimated as a service to our customers only. It is recommended that a final on-site inspection is conducted by your tiler prior to commencement of your job.
5. Our tiles and ceramic objects are handmade or/and handpainted. Small variations are not to be considered as an imperfection but as a sign of genuine handwork. The Customer is responsible for advising any claim prior the installation.
6. All goods remain the property of LA RIGGIOLA until paid in full.
7. Samples are charged at different prices depending on the requested type of tile. For orders higher than 5 m2 (ca. 55 sf) the total amount spent on samples (up to 2 pcs`/ 40 euros ) will be deducted from the final payment.
8. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate e-mail and postal/delivery addresses.
9. Any samples or complete orders which cannot be delivered due to incorrect information supplied, if requested will be re-delivered. LA RIGGIOLA has the right to charge the customer for any additional freight fees in this case.
10. All samples and orders are delivered via express carrier for smaller quantities and regular insured transports for bigger quantities. All items will be accurately packed – unfortunately breakages may occur. In this case send us please clear pictures of the damaged tiles/items plus a short description of the total damaged tiles/goods within three days after the delivery. Please send all to eshop@lariggiola.se- Please always write a note on the shipping documents in case of damage.
11. Our tiles are handmade or/and handpainted, shades and variations may occur in any single delivery. Slightly shade and size variation is inherent in all kiln-fired products including porcelain and terracotta tiles: samples should be used as a guide only.
12. Actual product colours may slightly vary from colours shown on your monitor. Colours can be verified by ordering a sample from our Site. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to eshop@lariggiola.se
13. This General Conditions of Sale applies to all transactions.
1. LA RIGGIOLA uses third party freight companies and couriers to deliver your goods. You agree that your details, including your name, delivery address and phone number, will be supplied to the freight company for the purpose of delivering your Goods. You will be charged a delivery fee per delivery, which may vary depending on the quantity of product being delivered, the method of delivery and the location of the delivery.
2. To ensure delivery can take place, you agree to provide unrestricted, safe and easily accessible access and parking for the delivery vehicle and to the premises. If there is no one available at the Delivery Address to accept delivery, or there is limited access to the Delivery Address or it is unsafe or impractical to make delivery or for any other reason delivery cannot take place, you may be required to pay for an additional delivery fee for re-delivery. You or your representative may be required to sign a delivery form to confirm that the delivery has taken place.
3. If delivery is delayed as a consequence of the Customer’s instructions, or lack thereof, then LA RIGGIOLA may at its sole discretion, store the Goods for the Customer and the Customer shall be liable for all storage costs charged or incurred by LA RIGGIOLA.

5. Because of our products are handmade and/or handpainted delivery and availability dates are estimates only and although LA RIGGIOLA will use its best endeavours to maintain these estimates, no liability is accepted for delay from any cause whatsoever. LA RIGGIOLA does not accept orders under penalty for late delivery. Any failure on the part of LA RIGGIOLA to deliver within the time stated shall not entitle the Purchaser to repudiate the contract in whole or in part. It is of course LA RIGGIOLA’s responsability to directly inform the client as soon as the delay is known in order to reduce all possible inconveniences for the Customer.
6. Due to current rules please be aware of the following:
– LA RIGGIOLA will not deliver upstairs
– LA RIGGIOLA will only hand unload tiles to the entrance of a ground floor
– Pallets will not be able to be hand unloaded
– If you wish to get help to unload extra charges apply. Please contact us for details and we will gladly help you!
7. If some of the tiles you ordered should arrive broken or damaged, we will of course send you new tiles as soon as possible without any costs for you! IMPORTANT: please note the damage on the shipping documents directly by delivery, send an email within 24 hours after the delivery to info@lariggiola.se, with a short text describing the problem and some clear pictures of the broken tiles. We will send you new tiles in the shortest possible time.
Returns will only be accepted provided that:
1. the Customer has complied and
2. LA RIGGIOLA has agreed in writing to accept the return of the Goods; and
3. the Goods are returned at the Customer’s cost within two weeks (14) days of the delivery date; and
4. LA RIGGIOLA will not be liable for Goods which have not been stored or used in a proper manner; and
5. the Goods are returned with the invoice or receipt note that was issued upon delivery; and
6. the Goods are returned in the condition in which they were delivered, remain in original unopened boxes and with all packaging material, brochures and instruction material in as new condition as is reasonably possible in the circumstances, and be from current, general stock presently held in store by LA RIGGIOLA. All tiles/items made on order can´´’t be returned with exception of defected goods.
7. LA RIGGIOLA may (at their sole discretion) accept the return of Goods for credit but this may incur a handling fee of up to fifteen (15%) of the value of the returned Goods plus any freight costs.
8. Non-stocklist items, discontinued items or Goods made to the Customer’s specifications are under no circumstances acceptable for credit or return.
9. A goods receipt must be obtained by the Customer from LA RIGGIOLA as proof of return of Goods. No responsibility or liability is accepted for Goods returned or left without a receipt having been issued by LA RIGGIOLA.
10. LA RIGGIOLA reserves the right to refuse to accept any Goods for credit at its sole discretion.
11. LA RIGGIOLA may cancel any contract to which these terms and conditions apply or cancel delivery of Goods at any time before the Goods are delivered by giving written notice to the Customer. On giving such notice LA RIGGIOLA shall repay to the Customer any sums paid in respect of the Price. LA RIGGIOLA shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from such cancellation.
12. The Customer may cancels delivery of Goods up to one day – 24 hours – from the order.
13. Cancellation of orders for Goods made to the Customer’s specifications or non-stocklist items will definitely not be accepted, once production has commenced.
LA RIGGIOLA’s items are handmade and/or handpainted.
Some small imperfections are only a proof for genuine artisanal work.
But of course if the sold items have been delivered with visible production defects such as disturbing frequent white dots on coloured parts, scratches, missing glaze, chips, will in its absolute discretion attempt to re-deliver the Goods with the same or equivalent Goods, or refund the purchase price of the Goods.
No installation, re-installation, materials removal or labour charges, or further damages of any kind are payable or form part of this warranty.
1. These terms and conditions and any contract to which they apply shall be governed by the laws of Sweden and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Stockholm.
2. The Customer shall not be entitled to set off against, or deduct from the Price, any sums owed or claimed to be owed to the Customer by the Company nor to withhold payment of any invoice because part of that invoice is in dispute.
3. The Customer agrees that the Company may review these terms and conditions at any time. If, following any such review, there is to be any change to these terms and conditions, then that change will take effect from the date on which the Company publishes such change(s) at www.lariggiola.it/termsandconditions.
4. If for any cause beyond the control of LA RIGGIOLA shall be entitled at its option either to extend the time for delivery or performance for a reasonable period or to terminate the contract.
5. The Company’s internet websites www.lariggiola.it / www.lariggiola.se / www.lariggiola.de / www.lariggiola.ch / www.lariggiola.co.uk / www.lariggiola.fr / www.lariggiola.net and all the related ones are for information purposes only and provided in good faith. Neither the Company or its agents take responsibility for any errors or omissions.
6. Clerical errors, typing errors or other errors in computation, quotation, invoice, delivery docket, credit note or on other documents issued by the Company shall be excepted and subject to correction by the Company. The Company in its absolute discretion, may at any time, and from time to time, add to, delete, edit and modify any of these terms and conditions.
1. Where LA RIGGIOLA has designed, drawn or written Goods for the Customer, then the copyright in those designs and drawings and documents shall remain vested in LA RIGGIOLA, and shall only be used by the Customer at LA RIGGIOLA’s discretion.
2. The Customer warrants that all designs or instructions to LA RIGGIOLA will not cause LA RIGGIOLA to infringe any patent, registered design or trademark in the execution of the Customer’s order and the Customer agrees to indemnify LA RIGGIOLA against any action taken by a third party against LA RIGGIOLA in respect of any such infringement.
3. The Customer hereby authorises LA RIGGIOLA to utilise images of interiors realised with LA RIGGIOLA’s products in advertising, marketing, or competition material.
